Agricultural Machinery and Technologies
"BACHELOR" and "MASTER"
Students are trained in: design
and testing of agricultural machinery, organisation and management of activities in machine-building
enterprises; technical,
technological and organizational preparation for and implementation of
agricultural production, repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery and tractors; management of service activity, technology design and equipment
for repair of machines and equipment, organisation
and management of repair and service enterprises. The qualification obtained at graduation is “mechanical engineer”
or “master engineer”.
Agrarian Engineering
"BACHELOR" and "MASTER"
The courses provide comprehensive specialized knowledge in the subsector
of agriculture chosen: plant
growing, livestock breeding or mechanization of agriculture. Graduates obtain the qualification “agrarian
engineer” and are ready to implement advanced technologies for production in plant
growing and livestock breeding, as well as for processing and storing of
agricultural production; to
manage agricultural units of different scope and nature; to evaluate and select agricultural
machinery and technologies, to conduct analyses, forecasts and marketing
research; to perform control
and research counselling servicing of production; to provide expert assessment.
Hydraulic and Pneumatic Machinery
"BACHELOR" and "MASTER"
The courses provide professional training for design, assembly and
exploitation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, elements and equipment; assembly of units, technological
lines and complex sites; design
and exploitation of pump stations, hydro- and pneumatic transport and
ventilation installations; diagnostics
and repair of hydro- and pneumatic machinery,
equipment and systems. Graduates
obtain the qualification “mechanical engineer” and will be able to work in machine-building
companies, in the field of water and sanitation, irrigation systems, in the National Electric Company, Electric Power Stations and power generation in general. They
are ready to managed individual companies and service stations, to act as dealers in the field of hydro-
and pneumatic machinery, equipment
and systems.
Ecology and Conservation
"BACHELOR" and "MASTER"
The courses provide preparation for finding technical, technological and
organisational solutions, developing concepts for control of air pollution,
water and soil contamination. The
students study the technologies, justification of environmental solutions,
formation and analysis of pollution and contamination, technologies for
purification, treatment of solid waste, noise and vibration protection, etc. Graduates obtain the qualification “environmental engineer”. They can work as technologists
and managers, designers, researchers and specialists in treatment facilities
and technologies, experts in protected sites and reserves and in
pollution control.
Engineering Design
"BACHELOR" and "MASTER"
The courses prepare designers with universal knowledge and skills. They
help the development of abilities for solving various design and ergonomic
problems in different spheres of industry, everyday life, work environment,
advanced research, etc. The students
acquire confidence for working individually or in a team, as leading, creative
individuals of a higher hierarchical level, as design leaders in the realization,
management and business in the field of design. Graduates acquire the qualification
“design engineer”.
